Certification

We have noticed that many companies do not provide proof for their eco-friendly products on their website, even though they openly communicate that fact. We value transparency and thus show where exactly we are certified.

We create transparency

Some companies try to attract unknowing customers by making false claims such as "The products are organic, FairTrade and produced under social conditions". We, on the other hand, do not want to mislead you as a customer, but would rather gain your trust. We attach great importance to transparent and open communication regarding our products and the conditions under which they are produced. Consequently, we have decided to invest money in international certificates in order to be able to present you with an official confirmation of our products' positive characteristics.

"Partnership for environmentally friendly companies"

Since December 2020, we have been a member of the "Partnerschaft Umwelt Unternehmen". This supports companies in Bremen and Bremerhaven in networking and campaigning for environmentally oriented and socially responsible action. The aim is to integrate sustainable business practices into everyday operations - while still being able to work profitably and cost-effectively. You can find more information on the company website* and on our membership certificate*.

We are certified according to the EcoStep management system

This means that our organisational structure and internal processes are checked for criteria such as quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety. The certificate must be renewed every two years, so that we are regularly checked for applicable standards. You can find our current certificate here. Further information is available directly on the EcoStep website*.

FSC® certified company and products

FSC® stands for "Forest Stewardship Council®" and is an international certification system for sustainable forest management. Founded in 1993, the organisation is committed to safeguarding important environmental and social standards in the forest. Companies only receive an FSC® certificate if they meet all the specified criteria and have themselves audited by independent third parties at least once a year. We are also one of them: Look out for our FSC® certified products!

We are also certified according to PEFC standards

PEFC stands for "Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes" and is an independent system to ensure sustainable forest management. PEFC describes itself as the "forest TÜV" (akin to a forest quality control) and operates according to strict guidelines. Independent experts review the entire production process – from the raw material to the finished end product. Furthermore, PEFC goes beyond many legal guidelines, thereby setting higher standards.
